Health Canada has issued exemptions for prescriptions of controlled substances under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) and its Regulations during social distancing.

The RNANT/NU office is closed and all staff are working remotely. While the office is physically closed, we continue to:

  • respond to phone and email requests
  • register and license RNs and NPs
  • answer practice questions and deliver practice advice
  • respond to complaints and intervene if practice is unacceptable
  • share updates through the website, social media, and newsletter.

March 17, 2020 Notice to Members: RNANT/NU 2020 AGM Cancelled

After careful consideration the 2020 RNANT/NU Annual General Meeting has been cancelled in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. This decision is based on recent recommendations from the federal and territorial Chief Public Health Office and Chief Medical Officer. The cancellation includes the education day.
